NFL Flag's weather policy is to continue games and practices as long as there is no lightning or thunder. In the event of inclement weather, the following measures may be taken:
Lightning or Thunder | If lightning is observed or thunder is heard within 10 miles of the field, all activities will stop immediately. Players, coaches, and spectators should seek shelter until it is safe to resume. |
Temperature | Games may be canceled if temperatures are deemed too hot or too cold for outdoor play. |
Delays | If inclement weather occurs, games may be delayed by up to 30 minutes. If the delay exceeds 30 minutes, subsequent games may have adjusted start times.
|
Cancellations | Games may be canceled due to lightning or heavy rain extreme heat or cold weather. |
Reschedules | National Flag Football is not obligated to reschedule canceled games, and rescheduling may not always be possible. Additionally, there are no refunds for games canceled due to weather-related issues. |
